Callie & Tosha

Callie and Tosha joined the family at Zoo`s Ferret Sanctuary in the early spring of 2005. They were only 16 weeks old at that time.

A mom had purchased these kits for herself. Her eight year old son displayed cold-like symptoms for several weeks, so she took him to the Doctor.

Allergy tests revealed the son was allergic to nearly every animal known to man.

The mom was devastated having to give them up. She wanted to be sure her babies would stay with us, so that she could keep in touch, be updated from time to time, and come visit them. Of course, we promised her we would.

Both girls are sweet and playful. They are helping keep the others young!
