Marjorie

This young chocolate girl is Marjorie. She was found in an OUTDOOR TOILET and brought to the Sanctuary. She is the tiniest ferret in the room--young, but very fragile. No one can imagine who would throw this precious, gentle, little girl away. Cathy named her after the kind lady who brought her to us.

UPDATE:
We lost Marjorie on March 25th, 2006.

Marjorie was with us for five years. She became adrenal after three and  did well on lupron for her remaining years. She was insulinomic during the last year of her life and became even more fragile.

Marjorie was one of the ferrets we could always trust with visitors. In fact, she was the one who went with us to the Kirkland Library when we gave our first presentation to the kids and their parents in July of 2005.

We will miss her sweet kisses.

Love, Zoo
