Pinky
We got a call on June 24th, 2006, a rainy Sunday afternoon. A woman wanted to surrender a ferret to our sanctuary. Her brother was being incarcerated and the ferret had been left behind in his apartment.
The little albino girl had a 35 gram tumor on the end of her tail. It was HEAVY!!! Pinky had a virus too and when she recovered, we put her in for surgery. She gets around much more easily these days without the ball and chain!!!
Pinky is a bit shy around other ferrets but we think she`ll become more comfortable with time. She`s very sweet with humans.
Pinky is adrenal and will be getting a lupron shot as soon as the syringe arrives.
This was Pinky before her surgery!
This was Pinky after her chordoma surgery. She didn`t miss her tail a bit!!
Love, Zoo
We lost our little Pinky around 5:00 this afternoon. She went comfortably and peacefully. What a sweet little face. She looks like a tiny little white angel, lying there in her cuddle cup. In spite of three hour feedings, she just wasted away. Her little body just couldn`t support her anymore.
