Snickers
Snickers was one of our first surrenders. Apparently, she had been a part of her family for only a month and found herself out of a home because the family cat became jealous of her and made "accidents" all over the house. The mom made the FERRET leave instead of the naughty cat who had only lived there a month longer than the ferret. Snickers came in as a very light sable and her coat changed to silver within a year! People should understand that ferrets can put on quite a fashion show...the ferret they buy today because of it's color may change (all but the albinos, of course). It would be wise, when selecting one, to choose it for its personality, not its color!

Snickers continues to thrive. She`s still in the Merry group with Emma, Cheezer, Felicia, and Sandy. She is about 8 years old now, but you would never know it. She still loves to play!
She came to us as a three month old kit, almost a year after we started rescuing and has had excellent care all her life--but she has also been blessed with good health. So many of them show signs of trouble as early as two or three years old...
